History and Milestones

    In 2011, through a joint venture partner in Thailand, TEE invested into Global Environmental Technology Co. Ltd (“GETCO”), one of Thailand’s largest waste water treatment companies with a capacity of 50 million litres per day. As such, it is well positioned to provide a total infrastructure solution in the region for water and energy resources.

    TEE continued to expand its land bank and acquisition activities in the real estate sector. In 2013, TEE’s wholly-owned subsidiary, TEE Land Limited, was successfully listed on the Main Board of the SGX-ST, raising net proceeds of approximately S$57.8 million at its initial public offering.

    To date, TEE is an established integrated Engineering, Real Estate and Infrastructure group with various businesses across the industrial, commercial, residential, hospitality, and infrastructure industries in the region.

  • 2005 - 2010Open or Close

    Leveraging on its success in its engineering division, the Issuer, TEE Group, through its subsidiaries expanded into the real estate sector in 2006.

    In 2008, TEE expanded into estate and facilities management when it designed, built and managed the workers' dormitory for Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. It also manages the Rom Klao Estate in Thailand, a housing development project for the National Housing Association of Thailand.

    As an established engineering group in Singapore and the surrounding region, TEE focuses on bidding and securing large-scale and high value engineering contracts. Some of the notable projects delivered to date include the electrical installation to the north podium, south podium, and theatre of Marina Bay Sands Integrated Resorts and the mechanical and electrical fit-outs of Asia Square Tower I.

  • 2000 - 2005Open or Close

    TEE was listed on the Stock Exchange of Singapore Dealing and Automated Quotation System now known as SGX Catalist in 2001.

    TEE continued to focus on securing sizable engineering projects in Singapore, and had established a strong track record amongst its clients.

  • 1995 - 2000Open or Close

    TEE focused on the Infrastructure and Rebuilding sectors, where infrastructure works involve the provision of M&E services for the expansion and improvement of infrastructure, and Rebuilding works for the conversion of the use of existing buildings.

    TEE expanded into the region, namely in Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam to develop our M&E business in focusing mainly in the Infrastructure and Rebuilding sectors.

  • 1980s - 1995Open or Close

    TEE’s business origin can be traced back to the formation of a general trading company under the name of Trans Equatorial Enterprises (SEA) Pte Ltd (“Trans SEA”) in August 1980. Trans SEA became a general electrical company and was renamed as Trans Equatorial Engineering (SEA) Pte Ltd. In 1993 the company was later renamed Trans Equatorial Engineering Pte Ltd following a management buy-out led by Mr Phua Chian Kin.
